KIP Group is committed to greener operations across its portfolio, led by a rooftop solar programme spanning the KIPMall network.
Green Energy Across KIPMall
Working with implementation partner Pekat Solar Sdn Bhd, KIP installed rooftop solar photovoltaic systems across its first six KIPMalls — Tampoi, Kota Tinggi, Masai, Senawang, Melaka and Bangi — delivering a combined installed capacity of 3,159 kWp annually.
The programme has since expanded beyond the original six: KIPMall Kota Warisan adds a further 957 kWp across 59,683 sq ft of roof coverage.
KIPMall Masai holds a special place in the programme as the group's first go-green community-centric mall.
